Hi! I’m Olivia aka Liv :)
Ever since I was little I have been in love with everything that has to do with the performing arts. I can’t see myself doing anything else, just like how I can’t see myself doing just one thing.
I love performing: getting to express myself onstage and tell stories that bring us together. I love being able to put my own spin on things, finding something fresh and beautiful in songs/ shows that everyone knows.
I love creating: writing music and stories that innovate and bring joy to others! It’s so important for me in particular to tell Queer, Female and Jewish stories, especially in a way that celebrates those groups instead of leaning into trauma.
I’m from Westchester, NY and I have a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of the Arts. I’ve been writing music since I was a kid, with many living room hit musicals under my belt. My first published work as a musical theatre songwriter was in The Myths and Hymns Project at UArts- a devised project that had to go online because of Covid. There, I met Hallie Malina, who went on to become my collaborator on more shows, buried and Fated.
You can find me playing guitar on the floor, designing on Canva, watching early 2000s Barbie movies or teaching preschoolers how to sing and dance through Tkiya Music.
